    Musher Bio:

    I have worked with sled dogs most of my life. I have finished the Iditarod three times, and have run many other mid distance races throughout Alaska. My wife and I own and operate Susitna Sled Dog Adventures, near Talkeetna, where we do tours with our dogs year round. I will be traveling with many of the dogs that will be on my 2026 Iditarod team, and am looking forward to doing a 300 mile race that is close to home!

    My family and I race and do tours with our kennel of 45 sled dogs in Caswell, Alaska. My favorite thing about running dogs is the trust that develops between my team and I. I am a born and raised Alaskan. For a year and half my family and I lived in an 8x12 cabin on the Denali Highway, and we mushed our team 65 miles to get to races in the winter. When I’m not mushing I enjoy bikejoring, paddle boarding, hiking, fishing, and hunting.

    With my husband Gerhard we own WW kennel, home of 25 Alaskan huskies and cat Lucy here in Willow. I'm 2 times Iditarod and 2 times Yukon Quest and 11 times Copper Basin finisher . I'm looking forward to run Su 300.

    I started learning how to run dogs in 2017 from Tim Osmar/Monica Zappa, my neighbors in the Kenai peninsula's Caribou hills. In 2019, I started my own kennel to chase that dream of the burled arch in Nome. We reside in Caribou hills with our 27 dogs on the same property I was raised on.

    Born and raised in Amarillo Texas. I moved to Alaska initially in 2013. I have worked as an RN for 25 years. I began handling for Bridgett Watkins at Kennel on a Hill in 2020. I started my own kennel when Bridgett retired in 2024. We are in Two Rivers, Alaska and I currently have 13 dogs plus a Great Dane named Nukka.

    Jeremiah has been running dog sledding tours and promoting this sport to thousands of guests visiting Alaska for the last 4 years with Snowhook Adventure Guides of Alaska. In 2004 he ran his first official race with the Goose Bay 150. Cheering Jeremiah on will be his wife Krystle, and 11 children. Several of whom are excited to learn how to mush as well!

    I have a small kennel of 20 sled dogs. This is a very young group of dogs, 12 yearlings, 8 two year olds and 1 five year old.

    Owner of Hardly Workin’ Sleddogs. Born in Indianapolis, IN. Based out of Fox, Ak just North of Fairbanks. The kennel consists of 15 running Alaskan Huskies and 3 retirees. Steve started working with Alaskan Huskies in the summer of 2019. Has operated his kennel solely since Early 2021. Our main goal is to always enjoy our time together and make sure what we do never feels like WORK!

    Originally from Carmichaels, PA, I moved to Alaska in the summer of 2023 to pursue my childhood dream of running sled dogs. Over the past 2 ½ years I’ve spent my summers working on godwin glacier running tours and in the winter training up some of the younger dogs in the kennel. In my free time I enjoy hiking, biking, and camping. I couldn’t be more thankful for the opportunities and experiences that Sarah and Travis have given me.

    Musher Bio:

    I began mushing dogs at eight years old with my twin sister and our two cocker spaniels. The addiction of mushing grew from there but I mostly blame it on my dog Lucky and am forever grateful to have spent almost 18 years in her presence. I am beyond blessed for my family, my “mushing mom” Rita Wehseler, the Berington twins, and friends who have helped me pursue dog mushing.

    Jessi owns and operates Aimaagvik Kennel here in Willow, Alaska. She has been running dogs for 10 years and has run and completed the Willow 300, Goose Bay 150 and the Kobuk 440 along with several smaller races over the years.

    Sled Dogs have always been a part of my life since I was young. I’m originally from Wisconsin and I’ve done a lot of races throughout the lower 48 like bear grease 120, apostle Island sled dog race, Gunflint mail run, in the northern Pine Sled dog race This winter. I’m excited to be racing in Alaska Thanks for the help of my family and friends back home, Wade Mars, and Julia DeLoach.
